MyJamii
Jamii is a Swahili word that means "Community". MyJamii platform brings together people from different countries into an online and potentially offline community. We want to help those looking for connections, information, events, and services to access them easily. We provide easy access to people and relevant content about the community you current live in and other communities back in your home country or other countries abroad.
History
Back in 2012 one of our founders had to say goodbye to his newly wife who had to travel back to Tanzania and leave him in Bournemouth, United Kingdom after her study visa expired. The departure led to lonely months with difficulties to form meaningful connections and no access to find fellow countrymen in Bournemouth. The experience led to a lifelong ambition to develop a platform that would make other peoples experiences better! 12 years later, MyJamii is launched to do just that!.
